I finally got the control arms back from my friend that's a welder. I want to post the photos before I prime and paint, but this site says I can't post attachments.
He welded 1/4" stock plate to key areas on the control arms. Just wanted to share. So next I'll prime and paint, install the new lower ball joints, then install them. I'm thinking of refurbing the cracked ones on the X once I get them swapped out. Anyone think there is a marke6t for that? |

Finally got the refurbished LCA's on. Relieved that it is finally corrected. Does anyone know if Nissan ever acknowledged that the LCA's were prone to cracks at the shock mount? Sounds like it isn't really that rare of a problem. Wondering if it was specific to a certain year. Mine is an 01'.
