I guess not having a trunk releas button on the inside actually was a good thing in this case, because not being able to open the trunk at least stopped them from stealing your subs.

wow, fuck that shit. sorry to hear that. Was the deck a removable plate? also, did you have an alarm system? those are two things people with audio systems should do, afterall, they're spending so much money on the system, a little more on an alarm system will only help, and removing the faceplate everytime you leave the car means theives won't be attracted in the first place, and, the deck they steal will be useless. Also, lowering your volume 2minutes away from when you park helps. just some advise. You are lucky that they didn't steal the car. My friend got his truck stolen for a week, and it turned up ditched in some alley with alsmost everything stripped, includeing his entire audio system.

I've been there and it sucks ass, had my deck and entire sub box stolen out of my car in broad daylight in my high school parking lot, and no offense but it's really hard for me to feel bad for you since you also have a Cobalt lol

sorry man, Thats exactly the same way they broke into my car about a week ago. I got lucky though and keep nothing in my car and they even passed up the small pringles container of quarters, and nothing got damaged. But its also why i am getting an alarm
