Lightbulb Best thing a Rodeo Owner can do is!

Look at your owner's manual or buy one. E-bay has them. I started haveng problems with my 97 rodeo cluster's lights. They where all crazy, the left turn signal would not work propertly, they would dim in and out, it was just crazy. I had my battery and alternator tested and check OK. I just could not understand the problem. I remember reading that Rodeos have problems when the Alt. is going bad. So what I did? I order and alternator. Later that day I went home and pulled my Owner's manual and started reading. As I was reading on the turn signal section it stated to follow some steps if you are having trouble with your lights.
Well It turned out that I was having that problem because two of my bulbs where burn out. The front right marker and the stop light in the rear.
I have also read on this web site where people have seen their volt meter go up and down while driving. Well if you read your manual in the volt meter section it will tell you that the reason it does that is related to fuel economy, while accelerating or deaccelerating, but is supposed to do it only during the day when your are not using your front head light. If you are using your head lights, the Vot meter will be steady.

The best advice I can give you all is to Buy your owners manual.
PS. I'll have an OEM Hitachi Alt. for sale if any one is interested.

97 Rodeo 4x4 with 114K and it runs and drives like a champ.
