92' Camry Temp Control wont turn

This morning the temperature control on my 92' Camry decided it didn't want to turn anymore. Well it turns half way, it gets stuck in the middle temp range, and turns all the way to the hot side. However, doesn't get hot when I turn it all the way to the highest temp. It gets warmer, but not as hot as it should/used to. Any ideas how to fix this?

That temperature control knob moves a wire at the temperature control valve near the heater hoses under the hood near the firewall.
Check to see if the end of the wire is disconnected, bent or restricted.

Pull the knob and make sure the knob isn't broken where it slips over the shaft.
