Exclamation Transmission Fluid

Quick question for a friend:

On a 99 Sebring, does the transaxle use only transmission fluid or does part of the final drive use a heavier gear lube?

Thanks

Re: Transmission Fluid

The final drive uses transmission fluid. You can use dextron and get a bottle of Lubegard, black bottle.Lubegard is approved by Chrysler and lubegard changes the dextron into the mopar fluid that is recomended.Lubegard is sold at any autoparts stores and is a friction additive.
