I had my 1.8L talon maxin out at 110 goin downhill, not sure how he got it up to 180 but id like to know how

it sounds more to me that he hit fuel cut than the gouvernor. Ask him what is he using to tune those "bigger injectors", and how much is he boosting. Probably he has no idea about the difference between the gouvernor and fuel cut.
