Re: Your Legacy

oh shit son!

my legacy? probably the weird kid that had too many connections.

honestly, i had a friend from 5th grade run into a friend i had in italy in 9th grade (they go to Oklahoma Uni) and they both had stories about me.

And then let's see, there were a few more. Friends ran into each other in Japan that new me then I get calls about it.

while im known by many names, my stories live on. yeah, cause they had trouble at first cause i change nicknames everywhere i go. Damien, Ditto, Nate, andrew, gnat...a few others.

i try to stick with nate, doesn't seem to catch on though.

Re: Your Legacy

i've already thought about this, my legacy is probably going to be nothing, and im perfectly fine with that. I'll have some friends that'll remember me from time to time, family that'll remember me, and maybe think about me on my birthday or something, then as the years roll on i'll slowly be forgotten by all but the closest friends and family. I just want to be remembered, when i am, as a nice guy who did his part for society and tried to live a good life and give others the same.

Re: Your Legacy

My legacy is something that someone that I was close to instilled in me. It is that, I always live life to the fullest each and every day because I don't know when my life will be cut short. Also he was never too activity or invite he was too tired for, no adventure he was too timid for, no rescue he wasn't brave enough for and lastly there was no words he was too shy for.
I read the post several times and then read an article in a local horse publication called "Horse Directory". It's really rather depressing that I never ever realized how much he really instilled these values/morals or whatever you want to call them into me. It's been 2 months and a couple days since his passing, and life is just starting to get back on track. I think him being my mentor and friend for so many years really is rubbing off on me and is really helping me be so successful in school.
/ramblings, sorry for the long post.
