Self Adjust, Cluch Cable, Quadrent....

Ok so the plastic gear under my dash on my 89 5spd lx mustang. When putting it back in like putting the clutch pedal back on and getting to where I put the cluch cable back on. Should I have the self adjuster/the plastic gear thing rotated a certian way towrd the floorboard. Like more rotated forward right not all the way back????

Re: Self Adjust, Cluch Cable, Quadrent....

See the quadrent I think is rotated to far back. So the self adjuster/quadrent/plastic thing is adjusted as far as it can to pick up cable slack but still not enough cause i didnt pull that plastic gear/self adjuster down..

Thanks the diagram is a little help maybe. I know how it all goes together. But on the diagram the top left picture the quadrent looks further up then mine. Not sure if that is to scale or anything but cant hurt right...
