85 cavalier...don't know a lot
Ok. So I have an 85 cavalier and though I'm trying to learn as much as I can about cars no one will really teach me so I need some help. And I'll try to explain this as best as I can. When I'm driving sometimes it acts like it doesn't want to accelerate. I can pretty much stand on the gas pedal and it won't speed up, then all of a sudden it's like something kicks back in and it accelerates fine. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem?

Re: 85 cavalier...don't know a lot
When was the last time you changed the spark plugs, wires, oil and filter? You're fuel injectors could be clogged, try pouring fuel injector cleaner in when you fill your tank next time.
