I need more info there is more then one type of timing on a KL Motor. The Ignition timing controlled by the computer and adjusted by the disty if you choose to.

And the Cam timing which is much harder and requires you removing the cam covers and passanger tire. Making sure the tensioner is good and lining up both cam wheels and the crank on the correct positions and then double checking them.
