I have 2 questions
My girlfriend has a 2002 saturn sl. She is having 2 problems. The first is that when she puts the car in reverse the reverse lights don't turn on. I thought that maybe the bulbs were bad and replaced them and no luck. Her car is a 5 speed manual? Also her power sunroof got stuck open, then the next day it decided to work and closed. Is there a problem the the motor to the sunroof and if so can some one tell me if there is a manual crank. I used to have a nissan with a glass sunroof and it had a manual crank in case it got stuck. Thanks for any help.

Re: I have 2 questions
th reverse lights are turned on by a switch usually at the linkage. its probley out of adjustment. i cant remember exactly where its at, a repair manual will guild you on that best
as for the sun roof it could be 2 things id check first. the switch, then check the wiring a wire maybe loose |

Re: I have 2 questions
the reverse switch could be bad. its located below the battery on the shift selector housing (notice the numers on it).
second part about sunroof, i bet its probably the motor. the older models with sunroofs had issues with broken sliders. newer ones didnt. i have had the pleasure of a sunroof with broken sliders, so i replaced the entire thing with one out of a 2000. so later on (about 6 months) mine would work 50% of the time usually getting stuck half way. the motor was the problem. those things can be expensive though. i have a spare one, but its on the other side of the state and i hardly ever go over there now.
