Please reply fast if you can help

Hi guys, sorry to keep on redirecting your attention elsewhere, but i have gotten a lot of great advice from the lumina members, and would like some help with my question posted here.

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=471486

The car belongs to my cousin and her husband, she has 3 little kids, and she needs this car to have heat for the winter especially with a toddler. It is now about 9:30 pm thursday night, and she is bringing it over to my place tomorrow at 1pm, any information before then will be greatly appreciated. I posted here because i know you guys and know you will provide the best info you can. Im not sure of the amount of help the stratus folks will be. Thanks again. BTW, her temp guage goes up to half so the thermostat is working, and it is a 2000 Dodge stratus "4 banger" i dont know if its got the 2.0 or 2.4 she didnt know how to figure that out.

I'd confirm the usual, both heater hoses hot, then you know it is a control problem, after that you have to dig into the heater case, I assume it is in r/s lower area of the dash, best I can do here.

Re: Please reply fast if you can help

thanks maxwedge, i actually did do what you said, but i found out the controll cable from the blend door had actually broken part of the blend door arm off and was no longer connected, so i took the radio out, snaked a drill in there, and drilled and zip tied it together, still works!!! knock on wood!!
