Help pick my project..

I'm looking to pick up a second car just to play around with and have a project but I want to knock a few off my list to make the choices easier.

Basically the criteria is pretty loose, I drive stick but i'd take an automatic, RWD FWD AWD doesn't matter I have a cavalier that is my daily driver and serves me just fine in winter too. Import or domestic...additional suggestions welcome

Looking in the range of $800 up to $3500 for the car itself.

1. Nissan 240sx
2. Chrysler Lebaron GTC
3. Toyota MR2 MKI or MKII
4. Oldsmobile Hurst Olds
5. Datsun 240z
6. Dodge Stealth

Yeah, its kinda up to you. Thats like asking "What should I do for a hobby?" Its whatever you are interested in. Personally I would love to have either an MR2 or Miata to work on.

Re: Help pick my project..

Well I'm just trying to narrow down the list. Basically I wanted to know if any of the cars I listed should definitely be avoided. I'd take any of the list so its hard to choose especially since i've been able to locate them all mostly in my area for a good price.

Out of that list either the 240 or MR2. The other choices arent a easy to work on or find performance parts for.
