1993 Ford Tempo Headlight Chime

Where is the thing located? I have not been able to find a single indication to its location and I need to fix it. It will sound while I go down the road.

It's behind the instrument panel on right side of the steering colum.

I disconnected mine so I dont have to hear it.. there is a purple/yellow wire that runs up that little opening under the column.. just cut it. the only time it will chime is if the lights are on and the doors are open...

No more ignition bong either... so you can work on your car with the keys in and doors open and not get a headache...
