First off..I'm new to this forum. My problem is I want to remove the stock cass. deck and hook up my pioneer deh-1400 and I don't know the wiring diagram off the stock radio. If anyone can help me with the diagram I would deeply appreciate it.
Thank You in Advance

Re: 92 mgm wiring diagram details

Is there any other wiring diagram for this car? If it makes a difference it has 1 grey and 1 black plug. The date of manuf. is 06-91 but the title does say 1992 and the car was made in Canada.

Re: 92 mgm wiring diagram details

This car came with 3 different sound systems, stock system and Premium Sound with an amplifier in the trunk, the 3rd was a JBL system with subwoofer. I haven't seen one with a JBL system with subwoofer as of yet, But Premium Sound was very common. If it has Premium Sound it will say "Premium Sound" on the front door speaker grills. If it's a stock system it will say "Stereo". For about $10 you can get a labled harness adaptor that you can solder your aftermarket harness on to without having to cut any wiring, This will also let you put back the factory radio if ever needed. If it's a Premium Sound system make sure that you buy a Premium Sound adaptor and not a stock radio adaptor, as one of the two plugs are different between the two systems.

Re: 92 mgm wiring diagram details

The 91's and 92's look totally different, If you have a 5.0L engine, chrome bumpers and a pedestrian aimer on the front header panel it’s a 88-91 style, The mid 91-94 style has a 4.6L engine and no chrome bumpers, no pedestrian aimer.

I also tried to check the wiring you sent me and I don't have many <4-5> colors on the wires that match.
