Still necessary to disc. battery on recharge?
Not really an Intrigue only Q.
My wife drove my '98 Intrigue that usually sits in the garage 5 days a week to weight watchers with her handicaped friend, since her friend can't climb into the wifes van. My wifes van turns her headlights off by itself a few minutes after she gets out. My '98 intrigue doesn't. She left the headlights on for 4 days. I disco'd the - battery lead and attached my battery charger. Is this still necessary? Years ago I was told to disco. the battery or you could burn out something. Thanks. jstin |

Re: Still necessary to disc. battery on recharge?
Do you mean disconnecting the battery when recharging it? I dont see why you would have too, Ive jumped started mine a couple of times and never disconnected the battery.

Re: Still necessary to disc. battery on recharge?
I don't, but I never owned any cars between the years 1999-1979 either.
Some of those years 1992 etc, I think had problems with this sort of thing. |
