Trans fluid ? etc..
I just ordered a Megan Racing short shifter/Ebay short shifter, ES shifter bushings, and a Greddy counterweighted knob.
Now I want to change my trans fluid too. First off what kind of fluid? I've read Royal Purple and BG Syncro are good choices. Next question is should I just drain/refill the fluid or get it "flushed in", or drop the trans pan and change the interal filter like someone was talking about a few days ago. Do you guys think its really necessary to flush it or drop the pan? I read somewhere that if you just drain the fluid then you only get about half of it out, does this sound true? How much does a trans flush usually cost? Would my dealership have a problem with me not using their fluid if I get the flush there? Also which is better getting a trans flush or droping the pan and changing the filter?

Re: Trans fluid ? etc..
I have Motul tranny oil in my car and it shifts really smooth. Really any performance brand lube is going to be Ok. Just make sure it is 75w90 and you'll be good to go.
