Front speaker on '90 accord

How do you open up the front speakers on a '90 accord

I assume you mean how do you get to them (opening them up probably isn't a good idea)

Look for hidden screws in the door handle area (in my 2000 theres one behind the handle itself and one down in the small bin part) Then look for screws along the outer edge of the door panel, most likely along the bottom. Once all screws are removed the panel is held on by gromets which require some force to pop out. There will probably be about 5 of them. Oh, and you'll need to detach the door handle mechanism in order to take the panel all the way off. The entire plastic area surrounding the handle should slide back and lift out. After that, take the metal rod out of the plastic holster (vague descrip I know but when you see it, you'll know) Once all the gromets are popped off, the panel should come right off.

because i was planning on installing new speakers in the front doors, how hard do you think it would be? Or should I get it profesionally installed

Once you get the door pannels off it is very easy to unscrew the old speakers and get them off. Save yourself the $$ and do it yourself, the pro install is identical in the end, and you get to pocket the install costs and buy yourself a nice beer afterwards...
