just so you know, the rx-8 is not a ford, it is 100% mazda from Japan, Manufactured in Japan and Built in japan to meet US standards for emmissions. If you want a Mazda that is really a ford than that would be the Mazda 3 and the Mazda 6 (that 3.0 v6 is used in taurus's). Oh and the used ones are actually better than new ones if they have had the recalls taken care of, c & d even said it, after the recalls were done with theirs they never had another problem so did R/T and Top gear. All 3 of these companies did long term tests up to 40K miles.
