What model is pictured?


These shots are from an ultimatecarpage forum thread that seems to be saying it is a future release from Minichamps. I'm willing to bet that it is not and that they are confused about the re-release of the 1/12 model.

I believe this was a completely custom 1/12th that was produced in Japan. It may have very loosely used a Minichamps/PMA 1/12th scale F1 as it's starting base, but I wouldn't even guarantee that. It is also 1 of 1.

So the 1/12's are gonna be rereleased?? When?? Also, anyone know what color that model is?

That's pretty much what I thought. I think that I've seen pictures of it before but can't recall where and I don't appear to have saved them. In the close-ups it is pretty darn good for a one-off conversion!

Yes, second quarter 2007. Can be pre-ordered at several of the Minichamps dealer websites. Conflicting information about what colors may be re-released but most sites are saying silver only. Price US$395.00.
