Hopefully that's true. The frame is definitely a weak link with the half tons. '99 was the worst.

Chevy redesigns there body about every 3 years. 95-98, 99-02, 03-06

I owned a 96 and now an 05, both ext cabs. Love em both. The years in between... 98-02... you can keep em. And by the looks of the 07's in the pics posted earlier, this 05 will be my last Chevy truck... for a while at least. I Just can't get by the looks of it. Really just don't like it. But as always, just my feeble opinion.

I think the outside is ok.. it's the inside I really like. Trucks have come a long way from being a redheaded stepchild to now considered to be family vehicle with all the comforts of a luxury vehicle..

That's fine, I think you can keep your 03-05, too. If you gave me one, I'd get rid of it to get either an 02 or an 06.

I love the look of the '99-02s, but I think the best looking Silverado (not on the poll questions) is the 2006, Classic 2007. Hands down, just plain awesome looking. Give me one with a 5.3.

Yes and no, the main reason I post on these undying polls is that if I see my name up as the last poster, I know that it is not actually a new post, but some clown who felt the need to dig the poll up from 6 pages back and vote.
