If it were just oil it would be black nasty.

My GT has a lifter tick for about the first 1min when cold out .
Tho This is something I need to keep in mind when I add boost to the SE
Yeah, poor PotIsYourFriend has alot of issues with his engine. If you read the prior posts he uses 1 quart of oil per week and went through 3/4 gallon of coolant over two years.

So what do you think and what would you do?

BTW - My son wants me to send his PCM module into DHP ($99). But I want the original back. It will be down for about 2 weeks.

We get a little in our Alero when engine is cold but only for around 30 seconds or so.

I would if I could.. Trust me I really want my 350Z but I bought a new house and no one told me how expensive they are

If and when it does crap out I'll probably just buy a 1k car out of the greensheet or car trader but avoid any Aleros or Oldsmobiles.. Strictly Honda for used...

Also I added 2 quarts which equals to 1/2 gal.

Jeremy,

DHP is Digital Horsepower. They are the only company that sells a ready to go re-programmed PCM module for the Alero and Grand Am. Cost is $99.00.

That way you can take advantage of mods like CAI and exhaust, etc. Maybe about a 8 hp increase before other mods.
