Re: 40 ford wagon resto

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it. Work has taken over again and progress has slowed down quite a bit but I still manage a bit late at night.

Thanks, Mvaneersel. It's a Paasche VL that I have used now for about 18 years.

Dean, I have seen your models progress over time and I think you should give it a try. Start with something simple and break it down into sections and just take your time and drink lots of coffee.

Fantastic progress.
I would love to see what you come up with. I say go for it and just work as slow as you have to.

Should have something for you all in a bit.
Cheeries,
Les

Re: 40 ford wagon resto

Well after a long time of not modelling at all, I finally got back to this the other nite.

Still have to think of a background and do some softening and touchups but at least the day of clear coating is getting closer.
Thanks for looking,
Les

Re: 40 ford wagon resto

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it. My brain is stumped again for a background so I'm gonna let it sit for a bit.

Re: 40 ford wagon resto

wow, .... thats about all that i can say about it ... one of these days i am goin to have to hook up my airbrush and see if i can even make a straight line with it ...

i have the almost same exact model except it has a diecast body (testors i beleive it is) .. bought it several years ago when the local wal-mart was clearing out stuff .. but have yet to do anything with it ... it has wirespoked rims with it tho =( ...

i can't get over the 'not to much detail' for the frame ... but it looks almost like the frame in a real car ...
