A car that sticks to the road
I'm in the market to buy a new car. I currently drive a truck and frankly, it drives me nuts on windy roads as my driving style is, lets say, spirited. So heres my question...
What would you guys (and gals) consider to be sme of the best handleing cars. I have been highly considering a WRX, possibly an STI if I can manage the extra 6 grand. And for arguments sake, lets say my budget for a new car would be 30k. But also, is their a value in a used car that would be well worth a look. Thanks in advance. JCarr |

Re: A car that sticks to the road
Thanks for the prompt reply but...
$30,000 was a budget for a new car, if I were to buy used ide say probobly 15-20k tops. Due to intrest rates and well, lack of that new car satisfaction. And im not interested in another truck, i want a car thats gonna stick to the road JCarr |

Re: A car that sticks to the road
Quote:
If you need some practicality, the Nissan Altima 3.5 SE, and especially the SE-R, has good road handling for a sedan. The same can be said of the Camry and the Accord (although neither of those are quite the white knuckle driving experience that the Altima is). The WRX also has some practical aspects to it, being a four door even though it's not nearly as roomy as a mid-size sedan. It all depends on two things: how much do you want to spend, and what do you want as far as practicality is concerned. Personally, if I had that kind of money (which I don't), I'd favor either the WRX STI, 350Z, or Corvette. And on a personal note, I despise trucks too. With a passion. |

Re: A car that sticks to the road
Take a look at a used BMW E36 M3. They can be found for mostly under $20K
