pcv valve problem

Can anyone tell me if my car has a pcv valve and where it is, 1996 firebird 6 cyc.

It should and they are normally located on one of the valve covers or intake manifold.

i think on that car it is on the back drivers side valve cover, or is that the 3.4 i am thinking of?

Just check the valve cover for it..........welcome........
I changed mine in like 2 seconds.

i changed my dads the other day on his 95 3.4 and his car was idleing weird sometimes and i found the problem, the hose that conects the hose to the Pcv valve, was split, so it had a little vaccume leak. got a new hose and fixed it all. so watch out for that.
