rough idle 4x4 99 dodge ram 1500

I have a rough idle during a cold start and sometime at a stop light. Have changed plugs, wires, distributer cap, injector cleaner, changed to 93 octane gas and still no codes or solution. Acts like it is overloading the fuel, plus you can smell it like it is flooding out. Then after a few min it will smooth out. NE Ideas would be appreciated.

do you have a manual transmission? If so there might be a glitch with your computer. I had to have my computer updated when I bought my truck used and it didn't want to go in the winter time or cool mornings.

No I do not have a manual, I have a automatic. It was rebuilt about 4 months ago though.

searched on another forum I'm on and it could be an O2 sensor acting up.

thanx crazy, I will change the o2 sensor and try taking the + batt terminal off for about 30 min. Will update if this changes ne thing. Am a truck driver and on the road so it will be in oct b 4 i get home.

have u inspected your vacume lines to your egr (undon ,cracked)had same prob cracked line repaced it runs good now

Some carb or parts cleaner used to clean the throttle body and IAC should fix you up.
