99 Alero Gauges, Power windows HVAC

Going to work today i noticed there were no gauges, No odometer. HVAC Controls don't work and No Power windows. I checked all fuses they seem to be OK.

Any insight into this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Eric

Welcome to AF.

Check the respective fuses in the engine compartment fuse box and left/right fuse panels on the dash.

Worse case you may have a flaky ignition switch.

Re: 99 Alero Gauges, Power windows HVAC

I did a little more digging and it appears the fuses on the passenger side panel that get powered by the ignition do not when the ignition is on.

Any ideas

How about the fuses and relays in the engine compartment fusebox? Mainly any ones marked Ignition, HVAC, etc. Check for 12 volts at the fuse sockets if the fuses appear good. It looks like either the ignition switch or maybe you have the infamous wiring problem at the engine compartment fusebox. Good luck.
