The 3.8 by far would win. Especially stock for stock. If the 3.4 has some bolt ons, than it very well could keep up with the 3.8 pretty good. I've messed around on the street with a few guys in with 3.8's (most having just a catback, and me having a 3.4 w/ I/H/E) and it's neck to neck the entire time. But as long as the 3.4 is stock, it'll have no chance against a 3.8.

Re: 3.8L vs. 3.4L???

I've seen a stock 3.1 Grand Prix race a stock 3.8 Grand Prix (both buddies of mine). The 3.8 launched and had better low end but the 3.1 caught up and they held even top end.
