A Black Woman as NFL Commisioner!

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,211385,00.html

I was reading this article about Condalica Rice. She stated her dream job was to become the Commissioner of the NFL. It's a change of pace from Sec of State but probably a good one for the NFL. It's been ruled by an elite few wealthy white guys for too long (being a white man myself I can say that).

Maybe inzone celebrations would come back? Maybe TO would actually be forced to actually practice with A team or leave the League?!?

Re: A Black Woman as NFL Commisioner!

I thought I was about to read this thread and get real irate with somebody. That thread title reads differently to a black guy than it does to you. Just fyi. I think the exclamation point is what sets it off.

Anyways, Condaleeza (sp?) will NEVER be the commish. Not because she's black, not because she's a woman, but because her public image is far too tarnished for the owners to allow her to become head of the league. The NFL is way too popular and has become far too successful for them to let her ruin it in the eyes of the paying public. If they want a black woman, they better see if Oprah wants another job.

^When I read the title I thought probably the same thing that 00accord thought, which this thread was going to be some racist thread. Glad to see I was wrong.(and yeah it is the exclamation point) As for her being the head commissioner it will never happen. like Accord said, her public image is just way out of wack.

If Condi can't do something as relativaley simple as get the Arabs and Israels to get along, there's no way she'll get TO and any NFL team to get along.

The arab extremists couldn't get along with a turtle. They're stuck in the 7th century.

Back on topic. Condi Rice I think is too intelligent to be the head of any sports organization. But then again we the commissioner of mlb is pretty lack luster in terms of smarts, so why not give her a shot.

I agree that the Arab extremist can't get along with anyone, including themselves. The humor intended was comparative, that dealing with the likes of TO is harder than the middle east negotiations and that even Condi may find it a rough road.
