New sub, spoiler is rattling...

So as the title says, I just got a new Infinity perfect 10" sub with a 300w JBL amp. Absolutely love the sound inside the car but outside the car is a different story because the spoiler is rattling like something is trying to get out of my car with a jackhammer...

Anyone else out there with a system in their 1g run into this problem? Any idea how to fix it? Thanks a ton in advance cuz spoilers rattling from the bass is something I've hated on in ricers for years... makes me seem hypocritical

yeah I have the same problem, but if you saw my setup you would understand (you can actually see it from the link in my sig)

my setup is so loud it physically snapped the metal arm of my rear view mirror off my car. I took the plastic off underneath the hatch and I dynomatted the whole thing, however that didn't help much at all. too much power to stop the rattle. But that's what you get for putting 2 12" L7's with 1500W of power a few inches from your hatch.

so you put some dynomat under the spoiler? or even if you didnt, would black dynomat hold up under exterior use or is there something else i can put under there that would do the job and still look decent under fairly close inspection when the spoiler is up?

Also, your system makes me touch myself . It looks nice enough to have been stock.... if a car ever came with 1500 watts and 24 inches of sub in the back straight from the factory, lol

i didn't put any dynomat on the spoiler itself, just underneath the plastic on the inside of the hatch. I wouldn't recommend spending the $40 since it doesn't really help, at least in my case. In your case it might make a difference, but I really don't know.

I have two 10's pushingaround 900w and i have a little rattle on the spoiler but its not too bad... I do beleive you can tighten the spoiler up just not sure how.. that should fix it... I'll try to look today after school.
