90 Suburban 454 Fuel Pump Won't Shut Off
I can hear the fuel pump running with the igniton shut off. I have pulled the connectors on the fuel pump relay and the oil pressure switch, I can still hear it run. The only way to shut the pump off is to disconnect the battery or pull the ECM-B fuse. Any suggestions on where the problem is? Thank you. Charlie Vaselaar

Re: 90 Suburban 454 Fuel Pump Won't Shut Off
To the best of my knowleege, the only two paths for power to the fuel pump are the oil pressure switch and the pump relay. If you are certain you are removing the correct relay, there may be damage to the wire harness at or near the relay, shorting power to the pump directly.
