Unhappy Wheels Oxidizing

Could anyone perhaps direct me toward a quality wheel cleaner that could remove the oxidized portions of my wheels? I believe they are aluminum alloy. Is the removal of oxidation even possible? I would prefer information from someone who has dealt with a similar problem. It's getting pretty ugly. I REALLY wanna get this crap off my wheels. Here is a picture to show how much oxidation has taken place over the last few years, I've only had this car for a couple years so it seems that the oxidation was well on its way before I got ahold of the car:
