Center console on 40/60 seat - back seat?

I was wondering if the center console on the last of the old body style pickups (97-99) 60/40 split bench would fit into the back seat (replacing that armrest)?

I have a crew cab, which has the same 2nd row I think as suburban bench.

If yes, than I would buy one off ebay or junkyard and swap it in for more rear seat storage space!
