Re: TB Spacers worthwhile?

I've heard no.
Think about it, what's a 1/2" space between the TB and manifold gonna give you?

Re: TB Spacers worthwhile?

For a carb..yes, they work as long as it is a phenolic spacer. The phenolic, being non metallic doesn't let the heat of the manifold transferr to the carb body causing it to heat the fuel in it. The benifits would only be seen on a very high performance engine.
A spacer for an EFI TB only does 2 things...makes you poorer and the seller richer.

Re: TB Spacers worthwhile?

it was worth it on my application. I don't know it it helped performance-wise, but it gave me the space needed to install the new steel braided fuel lines.
