Replace Cooling Fan Motor on 2000 Odyssey?
How is the Radiator (Passenger Side) Cooling Fan Motor replaced on a 2000 Odyssey? I can remove the bolts that hold it and loosen various brackets and hoses around it but it still can't come out either through the top or bottom. What else needs to be removed for it to come out? It looks like at least one Motor mount bracket has to come off and I don't have air tools for that. Any help is appreciated. I already have 3 hours into what looked pretty easy but it gets hung up on lots of stuff that I'd rather not have to remove.

I have an oddyssey 2000 with 188K mi. I am replacing the fan for the AC system on the radiator. Try as I might, I have to pull the entire radiator to be able to remove the screws that mount the fan motor to the bracket (bearing on motor bad). Will let you know how it went.

Re: Replace Cooling Fan Motor on 2000 Odyssey?
I bought a Haynes Manual for the Oddyssey 2000 and followed the directions in removing the condensor fan and cooling fan. It was extremely difficult to get the fans out but I managed to find a way. The point to be made here is that it is doable without removing the radiator. Good luck.
