coolant temperature sensor question?

I have a 97 mazda protege and im trying to find out whether or not it has just one coolant temperature sensor or two?

According to my Haynes "Mazda 323 and Protege 1990-1997 Automotive Repair Manual", there is one coolant temperature sensor. Failure of this sensor or circiut should trigger diagnostic trouble code 09. Also, be very carefule when handling this part as damage to it will affect the operation of the entire fuel injection system.
