Front turn signal lamp "socket"
My 99 Rodeo is missing one of the lamp "sockets"on the front turn signal. All the parts stores I have talked to say it is dealer only item. I am in New Orleans and the closest dealer is in Baton Rouge or Lafayette (exhausted looking through junkyards for 99 Rodeo). My inspection sticker just expired on 8/31/06 and I can't pass inspection until it is fixed.
Does anyone know of a temporary quick fix? I am thinking of some way to fasten a lamp to the turn signal unit and rewiring the three connecting wires from the pigtail. Any suggestions?
