can you help me

just did the mpfi swap on my sohc zc i am having a problem with the car not wanting to start. the only thing that happens is when i turn the car from run to off i get a large backfire in the manifold.i have followed the wiring steps checked recheck riped out the wires and did them all again and still nothing. bought a new dizzy cap rotor everthing and still nothing andy body have any idea as to why this is happening is there any diffrent wiring for the sohc zc jdm or what im so confused and i am really starting to dislike honda. HELP ME PLEASE

I had an Rv that did that, scared the shit out of me..Timing was off. Was funny as hell though, piece of pipe came rolling out from under the thing after it blew, classic.

so when you do this mpfi swap do you usually have to retime the motor cause it was running pefect before i decided to finally put the mpfi manifold on

did same swap not to long ago.here is a link that might help. and you shouldnt have to set timing again. check it though just to be sure. GL

yeah you really shouldent not like honda becasue you dident get the wiring down riht. that should be a personal problem not a honda problem. but if you are getting spark and fuel. and if its back firing you obviously have both. just check the spark plug wire setup. it goes from 4321 instead of 1234. i thought it went one way and thats why my old zc was back fireing when trying to start it up

thats the firing order for that motor or is that the order of the cylanders? i was just kidding about not likeing honda just frustrated.
