1976 vette headlight problems

I have a 1976 corvette stingray. I have a problem with the high beam headlights that I have not been able to resolve. After about 5-10 minutes on high beam they start to blink on and off. I have changed the dimmer switch twice and also changed the headlight switch. I have had the wiring checked by mechanics and still have the problem. The low beams work fine. I am the third owner of this all original car and am not aware of any modifications made by previous owners. Can any one shed some light on this problem?

Re: 1976 vette headlight problems

Have you checked the connection that goes in to the bulb?

It may be corroded.

Good Luck

replace the bulbs, the high and low beams can go out at different times
