Exclamation 93 JGC Help Needed Badly

Recently I had the fuel pump and IAC replaced, my truck ran fine for maybe 3 weeks. Now when it is at normal running temp the rpm's won't go below 1000 in drive and 1500 in park. I had the PCM replaced a year ago. Mechanic says all sensors test in normal range. What could the problem be? Another PCM replacement???? Help please.......

Do the RPM's go up and down? It could be the TPS?

Re: 93 JGC Help Needed Badly

The RPM's are normal until it gets to normal running temp. Then when I get to a complete stop the RPM's won't go lower than 1000, but when I start driving again, they are normal until the next time I stop or park.

I will say that a week before this RPM thing started, my brakes started squealing real loudly (sounded like metal on metal), had the brakes checked and they are like new. Could these issues be related somehow?

He found a vacuum line that was cracked and replaced it. Reset the computer and the problem persists. It's very frustrating. Could it be the IAC that was recenlty replaced causing the malfunction? Or maybe in the throttle linkage? I dunno, I'm grasping at straws here lol... seems one thing gets fixed another goes wrong...

My mechanic checked the IAC and the darn thing fell apart in his hands. Replaced it yet again, hopefully problem is solved!
