Subframe Bushing weld

I thought I'd share a pix of my welding of the bushing. It doesn't look very good (I'm still learning and it was a hard place to get into) but it's held.

In the second pic on the left side you can still see some of the bushing that I did't melt with the welder. This is the part that loosens up and the bushing starts moving allowing the front wheel forward and back movement.

Westwin. If you like, would you please add this to your pictures?

Regars

Dan

The bushings are located under the van in front on both sides. A wirefeed welder was used.

Re: Subframe Bushing weld

Hi Dan

Thanks, I know where the bushings are, as mine clank as well. What I meant was, where is the picture? I don't see it, and the link goes to Wiswind's page.

Thanks

Re: Subframe Bushing weld

I don't see them either......
Did not see them on my parent's computer over the weekend.
I get 2 small squares....with a little smaller white square, with a red X
I tried a right click and "show picture" on each box.......the box disappears, and then comes back the same.
I have IE6, that is up to date...on both computers.
