i bought my 1992 honda civic back in january and ever since the dashboard lights dont work.. the turn signal lights work .. but not the main dashboard lights and no other lights work in my car. rarely ill turn my car on and they wil work for roughly 5 min or so. then they shut off...how can i fix that if the fuse isnt to blame? this is getting annoying. i cant see how fast im going!!!

Re: dashboard lights on my '92 civic
Hit the top of your dashboard right above the gauges with your fist. Haha it's not really a fix, but it works every time.

Re: dashboard lights on my '92 civic
try a new gauge cluster if it's the only part acting up. i had sort of the sam thing happen with mine. a lot of it is heat (overheating) related. you may be out a hundred bucks or so if that's not the problem, but that's where i'd start...
