Exclamation 86 bronco 2 smoking badly

ok well weve got a 86 bronco 2 with the efi engine and it gets used mostly in the winter to plow and gets light use in the summer mostly so basicly 2 weeks ago when it was last driven everything was fine now today when we took it for a drive it was running fine but it was smoking pretty bad and it was dark black smoke any ideas as to what could cause this?

Sounds like it could be time for a good tune-up. All that sitting around has probably messed up the works. New plugs wires and gas filter should help.
