40th Anniv Mustang vs 94 T-Bird V8

I was on my way home from leaving the OBX, NC when I get pulled over by an undercover Crown Vic. Summons for 60 in a 45. I was keeping up with traffic, and happen to be the lucky one caught.

Anyways, not 15 minutes after this incident, I see a Mineral Grey 99-04 Mustang with a hood scoop in my rear view. "Hmm... GT...." I slow down and let him catch up to me. He gets next to me and I pace him. Hm. GT Hood scoop, 40th Anniv. Badges, and 16" Chrome wheels. "Base model GT?" I think to myself. No "Pony" decals... I let him get infront of me and see the one exhaust pipe. "sunofagun!" Then I hear his auto downshift, and the smell of the 3.8 at WOT engulfed me. I give it about 3/4 throttle and keep up with him, not gaining or lsoing ground.

Now that I know hes game, I pace him at 50. I hear his little whining V6 start to spin faster, So I drop it to 2nd, which puts me right in the sweet spot on the 4.6, when I see him nail it. I immediately jump ahead a carlength, and by 90 i was nearly a bus length ahead.

We catch another red light next to eachother. He doesnt pull up next to me. He stays back...
