The New Pontiac G5 (seriously)

The New 2007 Pontiac G5, I liked the G6 but it was a little to pricey and big for me.

It looks like a cobalt chassis, but with a better pontiac reinforced build (we all know pontiac builds more solid cars than chevy for whatever reason) and a new front and reaf facia.

It has the same 2.4 Litre Ecotec as the cobalt, and is also just a coupe as of right now.

This just means we can take the same products built for the cobalt and use them on a new pontiac g5.

Also has 4 Disc ABS Brakes, Optional Sunroof and subwoofer, Leather appointed areas inside, and 16-17" wheels, rear spoiler, foglamps, and some other things i cant recall at the moment.

The one shown is like 14,999 Brand New, and here's one in Fuzion Orange Metallic:

Re: The New Pontiac G5 (seriously)

Thats friggin awsome...

sorta eh though between a G6 GTP and a G5 with available mod options if it is the colbalt engine fully .... the stock HP... G6 GTP with 240HP stock sounds nice compaired to a 4cycl with 173HP....

Time will tell in the performance industry between these two but lets hope its all fair game

Re: The New Pontiac G5 (seriously)

I now own a G5 and can speak as to why I bought the G5 over a 2006 Cobalt. I looked at both models pretty hard and it doesn't take long to realize under the hood, the Cobalt and the G5 are the same car. I got the G5 because I think it looks better.

The cobalt and the G5 share the same engines: the 2.2L and the 2.4L ecotech engine. However, the Cobalt Supercharged SS has a different engine, which is rated at 204 hp.

To compare identical cars the G5 GT compares to the Cobalt SS (not the supercharged version). The standard G5 compares with the Cobalt LT models.

I got a G5 GT and am happy with the purchase.
