Well here is how to remove the water pump on the 2.8L and 3.1L engines..
  1. Disconnect battery negative cable.
  2. Properly drain and recover the cooling system into an approved container.
  3. Disconnect the serpentine belt at the water pump pulley.
  4. On 1985-86 models, if equipped with A/C, disconnect the wires at the air conditioning pressure cycling switch and remove the cycling switch.
  5. Unfasten the water pump pulley retaining bolts, then remove the pulley.
  6. Unfasten the pump attaching bolts, then remove the water pump.

Re: ATT 91-94 cavalier owners..lil tech help

ahh shit man sorry I didnt read it correctly obviously lol I really dont thing there is such an engine as a 2.5 (at least for the cavy there isnt) but here ya go buddy with the power steering pump theres a diagram for a different couple engines so just find the right one for you. hopefully this helps.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Detach the vent hole at the carburetor if so equipped.
  3. Loosen the adjusting bolt and pivot bolt on the pump or release tension on drive belt tensioner assembly, then remove the pump's drive belt.
  4. Unfasten the pump-to-bracket or mounting bolts (through the access hole in the pulley as necessary) and remove the adjusting bolt if so equipped.
  5. Remove the high pressure fitting from the pump.
  6. Disconnect the reservoir-to-pump hose from the pump.
  7. Remove the power steering pump from the vehicle. If installing a new pump, transfer the pulley to the new pump.
  8. Installation is in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the belt tension and bleed the system, as outlined in this section.

Fig. 1: Power steering fluid line routing - 1.8L and 2.0L engines

Fig. 2: View of the power steering pump mounting - 1.8L and 2.0L engines

Fig. 3: Power steering pump mounting - 2.2L engine shown

Fig. 4: Power steering pump removal and installation - 3.1L engine

SYSTEM BLEEDING
  1. Raise the front of the vehicle and support safely. This will minimize steering effort. Fill the power steering pump reservoir with the appropriate type of power steering fluid.
  2. With the engine off, keep the reservoir full as an assistant turns the steering wheel from lock-to-lock several times. Stop with the steering system at one lock.
  3. Start the engine and allow it to idle. Turn the wheel from lock-to-lock several times. Note the amount of air bubbles in the fluid. Repeat the procedure until no more air bubbles appear.
