i was wonderin if anyone else has a dorman dual elec fan for their 88 supra or any supra. since the stock aint electric, you know how that goes. i was wonderin if anyone knew which wires go where to run it. there's four of them. a yellow, green, black, and black/red. the tech guy for dorman is a complete idiot. he knew nothing about the fan or wiring, and he's their only tech guy.

Re: dorman 620-005 electric fan prob
The black/red will be the main power. I would guess that the green/yellow is for a thermal switch, but without a wire diagram for the fan I can't say. The instructions that came with your fan should have included that information.

Re: dorman 620-005 electric fan prob
it came with no instructions because it has a harness on it. i took the harness off since mine had the belt driven fan, so nowhere to hook it up. how do other people do it for their mk3 supra's? is there a special adapter harness to buy for it?

Re: dorman 620-005 electric fan prob
It is something you will have to wire up yourself. You are going to have to find out what the wires are for.
