volvo 740 turbo automatic not shifting out of first gear?...
i have a volvo 740 tubo auto matic that doesn't want to shift out of first gear. i have been told it could be a "vacuum line" or a "sped sensor". anyone have any ideas?....btw...its also for sale if anyones wondering. email me for more info...... [email protected]

My 760 was doing the same thing... check the kickdown cable connected to the little throttle wheel in the engine compartment... mine came loose which stops the transmission from shifting... the kickdonw cable is what tells the transmission to shift... how much do you want for the car??? what year??
