1957 Chevrolet Bel Air

I finnaly completed a new model, I haven't build anything in six months. I build this box stock just as a way to get back in to modeling. It turned out just as I wanted it, just a nice shelf model, and it realy gave me the will to biuld something more.

It's the new AMT with opening trunk, I just added a bit more BMF. Painted it Tamiya TS-26 and TS-41.

Now I got to build something more

Nice one Jon!
Good to see you back, will you go to Västerås in september?
Would be nice to see it in real life so to speak.

Gorgeous! Color is perfect, and the model is just so clean! Amazing. Keep it up.

Re: 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air

I agree, nice job!! The paint looks great. I have the old AMT kit (which is horrible) and plan to build it someday I'm going to use the fuel injection system from Revell's 1957 Bel-Air custom kit (using the supercharger/blower for that one). That light blue is exactly the color I was planning to paint it! You can never use too much BMF on a '57 Bel Air

Re: 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air

Awsome job! The choice of paint is perfect. I have been meaning to build one of these myself for a long time. It may be time.
