95 grand am se v6 3.1 . -IT HATES ME-

so i got a car for free , its a 95 grand am se v6 3.1.... it sat for 2 years before i got it.

WHAT WE GOT

1. spark
2. new fuel filter
3. pressure up to the fuel rail
4. new and charged battery
5. a starter that turns and works fine
6. old fuel w/ drygas
7. clean fuel injectors

WHAT WE MISSIN

1. an engine that runs
2. keys ( but i ripped the ignition out and we use a screwdriver now)
3. i cut the thredded wire under the steering colum. the wire is connected to the transmission somehow , but its not the wire that changes gears . thats on the ground in working order

so the engine will run with starter fluid untill i let off the can of starter fluid.

whats wrong ?

ive herd

1. fuseable link
2. parking sensor (or some sensor)
3. timeing belt ? (i hope not , expensive ?)

From sitting so long,
i would say you fuel pumps gummed up or its just not working up to par.

What was the PSI on the fuel pressure?

Do you hav good spark on all 6 cylinders?

It might not start because the ignitions tore out,
and the thieft deterant security system not going to let it start.
Also The piece you cut is probly part of the park/nuetral safty switch.

Good Luck
